Manage and delete data in the app first. This page explains the steps and retention rules; it does not directly delete device or cloud data.
Delete data in the app
Open data management
Go to Settings → About → Connection & records → Manage local & cloud data.
Older installed versions may offer the controls directly under Settings → Connection & records, or under Manage data. Follow the entries available in your installed version.
Choose the data to remove
Clear practice data: removes local practice counts, event history and unsent feedback drafts. Instrument, sound and language settings and installation credentials remain. Today’s used auto-tap allowance stays until the next day and is not reset by clearing. Submitted cloud feedback is not deleted.
Delete cloud data: with a connection, removes submitted feedback, the installation ID and authentication records linked to this installation. Connection pauses after success; local practice and settings remain.
Older labels may include Clear practice data & drafts, Clear local practice records or Delete cloud records. Reset practice counts alone keeps event history and drafts; it is not the same as clearing practice data.
Review the scope and confirm
Read the confirmation in the app and confirm the action. It is complete only when the app reports success. Cloud deletion needs a connection and valid installation credentials. If it fails, keep the app and credentials and retry when connected.
To remove both, finish cloud deletion before clearing device data or deleting the app. Deleted data usually cannot be recovered.
Scope and retention periods
Data
Retention and deletion
Local practice, settings and drafts
Stay on your device until you clear them. A server-side deletion cannot erase local device files. Clearing data may be irreversible.
Submitted feedback
Normally up to 180 days, with hourly expiry cleanup. An accepted and verified deletion request can remove identifiable feedback earlier.
Installation and linked cloud data
Kept while the installation is in use, until deletion. Deleting the installation removes linked feedback.
Database backups
Daily backups on the same Beijing server expire within 15 days. They are isolated from normal use. If a backup must be restored, confirmed deletion requests must be reapplied before the data is used again.
Service logs and rate limits
Runtime and dedicated web access/error logs expire within 30 days. Management audit records expire after 30 days with hourly cleanup; rate-limit counters expire when their limit window ends. Necessary security logs are not used to rebuild deleted practice or feedback.
Request emails
Used only to verify and handle your request and reply to you. Unnecessary content is removed after handling. If specific information must be retained for a legal obligation or dispute, we will explain the scope, reason and applicable period.
Pausing connection does not remove submitted cloud data. Clearing local practice and deleting cloud data are separate actions; complete both if needed.
What happens when you delete the app?
Deleting the app and its app data removes locally stored practice, settings, drafts and installation credentials. On Android, do not choose to keep app data if that option appears. On iPhone, choose Delete App: Offload App keeps documents and data.
Submitted feedback and other cloud records are not automatically deleted when the app is removed. Delete cloud data in the app first where possible. If the app is already deleted, use the email below.

Delete data in the app

Delete cloud data: with a connection, removes submitted feedback, the installation ID and authentication records linked to this installation. The full edition also removes linked uploaded practice, points, collections and draw records. Connection pauses after success; local practice and settings remain. v1 does not upload practice.
